It was lovely to have Tescos' Community Champion Sarah Cuff visit us for our afternoon tea on Thursday to find out about what we do in addition to our food bank.

Sarah visited our winter garden and saw the remains of our summer project in the polytunnels, with the figs having been successful whilst the other herbs still grow such as the onions which are spritely again after receiving help from the winter rain.

We're really looking forward to Tescos continued support for our food bank and Christmas projects.

Sarah also found out about Tom and Matthew's multimedia work on the computer and Pioneer Social Enterprise Ltd.'s website.

Our thanks again to Sarah and our team of volunteers who prepared the tea and cakes and for making our event so successful.
