Facilities include central heating, laundry room and equipment of tumble dryer and washing machine, ironing board and iron, shared tiled bathroom with separate shower cubicle as well as bath.  Hairdryers available on request, towels and bedding provided.

Large garden with patio area including built barbeque, shared sitting room facilities with Freeview TV and free Wi-Fi internet access.

I am a live-in-host who is available throughout the day.  I welcome business professionals, builders, consultants and those travelling on holiday.  Long and short stay bookings are welcome.

Local amenities include a cinema complex, restaurants, lake side village shopping outlet, and 15 minutes from Doncaster racecourse, keepmoat stadium, racetrack cast theatre.  Treeline walk and park area accross the road in woodfield conference grounds, includes outdoor gym.  Ten minutes by car from the lakeside jogging and walking area.

Brodsworth and Cusworth Halls, local golf courses within travelling distance, including the soon to be opened Yorkshire golf course and the nine holes leisure complex, Owsten restraunt open to the public, bookings in advance recommended.

Historical Doncaster Minster heritage site, Doncaster museum and art gallery, Doncaster Dome offers ice skating, swimming, gym, local bowling. National award winning Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park are both within a 45 minute drive.

The fitness village in Balby, a local convenience store and post office are within 5 minutes walk of the house, close to Tickhill and the surrounding countryside including the Peak District.  15 Minutes to The Earth Centre and Conisbrough Castle.

Transport

Rooms come with free roadside parking, within walking distance of Doncaster interchange train and bus station.

Taxi from the train station to the front door, 19 or 22 bus from Doncaster interchange, bus times from 5:30am - 11:30pm every 15 minutes and every 30 minutes after 6:00pm.

20 minutes from Doncaster Robin Hood airport, 5 minutes from motorways M18 and A1, 30 minutes to Sheffield City centre, 20 minutes to Meadow hall Shopping Centre by train.

Other Things To Note

Percentage of the room charge goes to support Pioneer Social Enterprise Ltd,  a local community organisation supporting special needs adults, those with life debilitating illnesses such as cancer survivors and those of the autistic spectrum, many of whom are unemployed wanting work experience and training.  Offering services to those on low incomes such as food parcels and breakfast club.
